Their appeal enticed death to pull at the roots, separating the stems from their life line
At the daft descent of the final glimmer, The once renown flower fades into the obscurities of memories of those who saw it before it fell.

As I sit here I watch. I watch the manufactured roses sitting in their glass prison, suspending their meanial life. As the brown death creeps up the once lively green stems The withering leaf grasps the failing stem holding on to its futile hope. A petal falls.
